Monthly outings & activities designed for teens and young adults on the autism spectrum. Next outing:

What: Play Miniature Golf at Bogey’s followed by Taco Bell tacos and snacks.

            When: July 10, 2010 (Saturday) 11:00 A.M. 1:00 P.M.

Where: Bogey's Family Fun Park, 3110 Laura Lane in Middleton (see map link below).

Cost: Free (Taco lunch from Taco Bell and lemonade provided - bring money for other soft    drinks, treats and video games)

We went to Bogey’s in 2007 to drive go-carts and had a great time. This time we will be trying out the miniature golf course at Bogey's Family Fun Park. Their mini golf course is nature oriented and peaceful. They have lots of flowers and trees.  They have a pond with gold fish in the middle of the course.  They will provide us with some food we can feed to the goldfish.

The course is themed after Wisconsin Sports. It pays tribute to the Green Bay Packers , Wisconsin Badgers, soccer, bowling and more. On one hole you putt through their scale replica of the Packers historic Lambeau Field.  It has water hazards and sand traps.

You can find more information about Bogey’s on the web at: www.bogeysfamilyfunpark.com For directions on mapquest, go to mapquest link to Bogey's.  To get to Bogey’s take Highway 12 (the west beltline) to Middleton, take exit 250 (Airport Road and M).  Turn east (on M).  Turn right on Laura Lane which is the first cross street on M.   Bogey’s is on your right about a block down.

You can buy soft drinks, popcorn and candy at the concession stand.    I hope the weather will cooperate, but we will go to Bogey's, hang out in their game room and eat tacos even if it rains.   If it isn’t pouring rain, we can still play miniature golf. There is an indoor video arcade and air hockey table.

I have reserved Bogey's private party room for us.

Important Items and Sensory Issues:

The video game room may be crowded and noisy.

Dress appropriately for the weather.

Bring sunscreen if it is sunny.

There may be mosquitoes.

Please RSVP to (608) 222-4378 or ausome@hughes.net

Please contact Nancy Alar at nancy.alar@hughes.net or call (608) 222-4378 if you plan to attend. As always, you can bring friends and family.

Thank you to the Capital Times Kids Fund for making these activities possible!
